Learn Korean Touch Typing On Your MAC!

This post is about a Touch Typing program I recently discovered for Apple MAC computers. You can download TAZA from the Apple Mac Store here. The cost is $1.99 USD (which is pretty reasonable).

Create an Account and Login

After purchasing the program, downloading it, and starting it up, it’ll prompt you to create a user account.

From here, you create a username and password, and choose your Keyboard Layout. “Dubeolsik” is probably the keyboard type that your Korean computers have, so select that first (you can always change it later). Here are the different Keyboard Layout options:

1. Dubeolsik (2-Set Standard Korean keyboard)
   
   
2. Sebeolsik 390 (3-Set Korean)
   
3. Sebeolsik Final (3-Set Korean)
   
4. Qwerty (English Keyboard)
   
5. Dvorak 
   

Once logged into the program, you can change your Keyboard Layout either in the Settings Menu (the typical “gear” icon will open it) or at the top of the window in a dropdown menu:

Also, in the settings menu, you have the option to change what your Keyboard will look like:

1. Standard
   
   
2. Metal
   

Using the Program

Honestly, using the program is very self-explanatory. All the menus and directions are in English. But here is a preview of the various types of activities you can work on:
