Pretty exciting! Avengers 2 will be filming some major battle scenes and in key locations in Seoul beginning THIS Sunday! Someone I know from Jeonju will also be involved in the filming. Sounds like a fun time.
- The studio plans to spend over $10 million on the filming in Korea
- They will hire 120 Koreans and include at least 100 extras
In order to give you a bit of a teaser for the new film, I’ve found some information about the filming that I think is quite interesting. I’ve also embedded multiple Naver maps of the filming locations below – so have fun checking out where this massive blockbuster will be shot!

There’s going to be a lot of traffic for awhile, so anyone who commutes in and out of Seoul might want to plan ahead if they take any of these routes home because major bridges and roads will be shut down for extended periods of time. Traffic will be shut down at the film locations for 11 to 13 hours a day.
